Animated token transparency turns black when switching tabs in Chrome

I recently purchased the Animated Orbital Conditions from the Marketplace. Half of these assets (those not marked as "mini") are affected by a major problem. When the user switches tabs in Chrome or alt-tabs to another program, the transparency of the image turns black, blocking vision of anything behind the image. The only way to temporarily fix the problem is to replace the asset, though the new asset will also get corrupted if the user switches tabs again. This only seems to be a problem on Chrome (Firefox seems to work fine). This is also a client specific issue - for some players the transparency would be normal and for others it would be black - it all depended on whether or not the client switched tabs or not. This problem seems to have been around for months but nothing has been done to fix it: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8435924/animated-token-backgrounds-become-opaque-in-chrome https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8035299/broken-animation https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8953249/animated-weather-overlay-from-marketplace-keeps-turning-black I will refrain from purchasing any more animated packs from the marketplace until this is fixed since there is no guarantee that the animations will work properly.
This is still a problem as of December 2020.
