Is there any way to duplicate a folder without duplicating the individual characters or handouts in Journal?

I'm Gm'ing a game in French and in English with two groups. So I'm currently working on the delicate task of duplicating handouts, quests, etc..  I can't find a way to duplicate a complete folder (for instance, the folder with the monster handouts.) Reason I wanna do this is not having to individually reset the "show to players" when I play with the other group. Each group would have their own folders in French or in English, but in the SAME game. (Yes, I also duplicate the maps. Why? Because it's DOTMM and I substitute the basic maps for more colorful -and lighter- ones and it would take too much time to edit all the levels twice..) Thanks!

I don't think you can automate this at all without a Pro subscription. Probably the most straight-forward way would be to create a second game, translate & rename every handout/folder, then Transmogrify it into the original game - the Transmogrifier does require Pro though. There's also possibilities using a custom API script... though I can't see that Journal folders are available to the API, so that might be a bit limited.

Ooosh gave the best answers for this. Also by the way, this is not a Bug report, thread really belongs in Specific Use Questions forum. No worries though. Getting PRO account and use Transmogrify (what Oosh said) is probably the fastest time-saving approach. Oosh idea to use the API is also something to look into but more of a long road to achieve it. The only idea I can add would be ---- what if you Don't worry about "Show to Players"? (Sorry!).  Can your groups just use social cues and the honor system? " Hello, English players! Do not look at the monsters handouts that the German group saw yesterday." Just because this method would save you a lot of time. The Show To Players button WILL STILL WORK (it will force to pop up the handout to Group 2, even after you forced it to pop up with "Show To Players" to Group 1 earlier). That functionality is repeatable. However if Group 2 members were peeking into the folder under Journals tab, they could open it themselves and look, anytime after the first reveal.
Thank you both! Sorry for the wrong section of the forum to post in.
