Adding a cap to custom initiative items?

So this is a rather specific question. So let's say I want to create a counter (it could count anything, like rounds or something similar) and do so in the initiative settings, as seen below. Is there a way you can add a maximum value to this counter? For example, say you added an escalation dice to the counter and wanted to put a max value of 6 to it, is that possible? I've skimmed through the forums and can't find this question anywhere.

You can do it manually, but you can't mix it with the custom item per-round math. If you create a token, call it "thingo", then add it to the turn tracker, you can select the token and use: [[{@{tracker|thingo} + 1d6,6 + 1d0}kl1 &{tracker}]] That would add a 1d6 to the tracker entry, capping at a value of 6. But you need to be able to select the token for this to work - you can't select a round divider entry on the tracker, it has to be a canvas token (without API, as Aaron said).
Oh, I see. I suppose that's the most I have to work with for the time being. Thanks for the help!
