Heyo all, as the title shows i'm looking for at least one or two more players to fill the remaining slots to a game i'm going to be starting up in the near future for D&D 5e. It's a custom world that will be starting with a short module initially, for added fun and it easily flows into the game itself rather easily. You will start off at level 1 and get to level 3 by the end of the initial prologe module, which will help showcase at least one side of this little world i'm piecing together. A world filled with both arcane infused fantastical elements, such as trains, airships, canons, to firearms in some locations and then elements of old Norse esque feelings, ancient horrors, mystical elven and fae flavorings and all sorts of things mixed in between.  Game will have it's share of homebrew house rules, and run off a milestone advancement system, meaning going to important events, accomplishing things and so forth will gear to leveling up, not killing everything. In fact, not all situations require you to even fight, always try to explore different ways of getting around stuff. When you level up, you'll take max hit points each level, so don't worry too much about not getting a good roll each time you level. I want roleplay to be a bit more of the forefront, but there will of course be plenty of fighting in the end, so don't worry about that. It's mostly sandbox, with some story elements that can be designed in the end to go for each player's backstory, class elements, and choices they make throughout. Everything could shape what comes forward, and most things aren't necessarily waiting for you to make those choices or get to it. If you refuse to go save a village from raiders, even if it might be hard and you're not quite as prepped, that village may not be there or may not be what it used to be by the time you do.  Post here or PM me if you're interested, maybe a bit about your experience in D&D or other tabletops as-well, if you're new don't worry too much, myself and those there will do our best to help. We use DND beyond for character sheets, so try to have an account. All content is available within, and we use beyond20 to roll over to roll20, the platform our maps will be on and the like. Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm interested and daytime on Thursday is perfect for me. I'm a math guy (actuary, age 57) with lots of experience with board games and D&D from the 1970s and 80s a both GM and player.  I'm looking to play online for the first time and interested in the Roll20 mechanics in particular. I'm happy to play any class or play any internal role to support the needs of the group. Message me with next steps a needed.
Hey everyone, as of now the thread is effectively closed on seeking new people. Appreciate all the applications/interests that were given out, if any space opens up  I may reach out to those who previously sought to fill in the empty space.
As a new update, I'm now looking for one player to fill a replacement slot. Didn't expect it so early, but it is what it is. Looking for those who can be committed to a long term campaign and show up to sessions.
Hey there, I'm free on Thursdays at anytime and am a pretty experienced player. I too can play any class but I tend to favor Martial Classes. In fact, I've actually been hoping to play a Blood Hunter if you'd allow it. If not, then we can figure something out.
The slot is still open if anyone is interested.
