Just because you have not encountered a problem before does not mean you never will. The code for Roll20 changes, as does the code for Microsoft Edge. At some point, there may be a conflict that causes problems. If Edge was a supported browser, Roll20 would adjust for that conflict, but it is not a supported browser so they do not test it and they will not go out of their way too much to fix it. Firefox and Chrome are free , you do not need to pay for them. And they are tested by Roll20 and used by the vast majority of users here. And you can have multiple web browsers on your PC, so you can continue to use Microsoft Edge as your main browser if that is your choice -- just fire up Firefox or Chrome only when you want to play on Roll20.
