Hi! I'm interested in starting a Discord server for myself and 4 to 6 other players to play a series of GM-less and/or rules-lite games. The first game I'd like to explore is Balikbayan: Returning Home, a semi-apocalyptic cyberpunk-fantasy game based on Filipino folklore; other games include but aren't limited to: Sleepaway - kids' summer camp but with terrifying monsters lurking in the forest For the Honor - She-Ra adjacent science-fantasy Feathers - angels that have fallen to earth, exploring their identities Thirsty Sword Lesbians - pretty much what it sounds like lmao Dream Askew (queer community in the apocalypse), Dream Apart (Jewish community in fantastical alt-history Europe) I'm always writing and brainstorming, but I don't usually have large chunks of time or the spoons to commit to "live" sessions. Therefore this would be a play-by-post/text-based server, and we would decide together on expectations such as a minimum number of posts per week. I'm happy to have one-off voice sessions and hangouts occasionally, but it wouldn't be an expectation. For background, I'm a queer girl looking for LGBTQ+ folks who prioritize the well-being of their fellow players and are interested in failing forward. The content of our games will either steer clear of, or criticize, principles such as queerphobia, racism, and colonialism (we'll collaborate on what level of discussion folks are comfortable with).
