Interest Check in a Tom Clancy themed game

I was leaning more towards The Division but Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon Wildlands would work too. The game would be a simple d6 homebrew based off the official pen and paper Ghost Recon Wildlands game that came with the collector's guide; super niche so I don't expect anyone to have tried it and will do my best to explain it thoroughly, but it's super simple. The game will be played sometime Monday-Thursday afternoon or evening PST, or Sunday after 7 PM PST.
PST timezone is terrible for me, but I enjoy trying out new systems and I'm partial to modern settings, Clancyesque in particular. Anyway, if you manage to put a crew together I'd love to be in it.
The pen and paper rules were like the last 20 pages of the Wildlands collector edition guide. It was a simple d6 system that amounted to rolling a d6 + skill modifier + item modifiers. 10+ was a success, 9 and below was a failure except for certain skills like interrogation or medical in which case every number below 10 was an extra turn it would take to finish what you were doing. The rules had a pre made mission, enemy stats, and character sheets including pre made sheets for Nomad and the main ghosts for Wildlands. It was fun but I had to make some changes to the rules which I feel helped balance it out more. For example, the unedited Short Range for weapons fire was 0-50 meters which is ~150 ft, shotguns gave a +4 at Short Range, I felt that was a bit too strong so I shortened it to like 30 ft
I'm working on putting everything on a google doc. I'll link that here when I finish it. I'm planning on running it in The Division universe with you guys being a squad of First Wave agents, just a heads up so those interested can start coming up with a character concept. Quick breakdown of Division agents, for those not well versed in The Division lore, they are basically sleeper agents but not in the mind control spy/assassin way. Chosen from the civilian sector usually with military or public service/first responder backgrounds, they are trained to maintain rule of law in a complete disaster scenario. Once activated, agents are pretty much granted complete authority and autonomy to complete their objective.
Just an update, the google doc is taking a bit longer than anticipated. This week has been a bit hectic for me irl at work, I work video game retail and the new consoles just dropped and Black Friday sales are just around the corner so my schedule probably won't clear up until after the 27th
Would this be a high realism game like the old novels or gamey like Ubisoft games?
if you decide to use fate for this im in.
I’m in if you do Sunday’s
Sent a PM i'm very interested

Just so everyone will be aware, I will be making a discord server for this game and plan on using discord for voice chat. @Dude J. This game is going to be kind of mixed. The setting is scifi and post apocalyptic, taking place in The Division video game world. There will be darker and grittier elements to the game, especially when Agents deal with the aftermath of Cleaners or Rikers attacks. I try to focus my storytelling more towards the realistic but with this setting and the tech specifically, it will lean more towards video game. One mechanic that definitely leans more towards video game is when an Agent reaches 0 HP they basically get knocked out instead of lying there dying. If this is still something you're interested in but you don't know too much about The Division, I suggest looking up The Division Agent Origins on youtube; they are short videos and should give you a decent look at the setting. @Ryku I will be using a simple d6 homebrew system that basically amounts to roll a d6 + skill modifiers + item modifiers, a roll of 10 and up is a success, 9 and below is a failure for most rolls. I am working on a google doc of the rules and will post a link to it in this thread in the near future. @Marc Y. Sundays could work for me but wouldn't start until around 7:30 or 8 PM PST, weekdays usually work better for me but I will wait to see what the availability is looking like for everyone interested.

7:30 PST is too late for me. I'm in EST and that would be when I go to sleep :/
i would b down for something like this
I can do Tues any time or any other day starting at 7pm PST. Strongly interested. Thanks for your consideration.
You had me at the mention of Ghost Recon: Wildlands. I'd be delighted to do anything in a Tom Clancy flavour. I've never played The Division though, so I'd be starting from scratch there.

Pretty sure I covered everything you guys need to know mechanically about this game in the google doc. If you guys have any questions after reading through just let me know. FYI, the doc looks better on a desktop rather than mobile. https://docs.google.com/document/d/13XskwR6pBBurLOLfhkhoz7ymZ8vaCfX1Lvohq55boY8/edit?usp=sharing
The doc looks good. Have you decided on a day and time?
@Wu The doc is about 50/50 modified as the canon rules were fairly vague on a lot, especially the skill checks. It definitely felt like an afterthought they added in to the guidebook rather than something flushed out and well play tested. Core mechanics, character creation, and success/fail rules are untouched. The skills remained mostly untouched, although I changed the name for Intel (called Reconnaissance in the canon rules) and Influence (called Interrogate in canon). The canon didn't have Engineering and actually separated Vehicles into Driving and Piloting, which makes sense as they are two different skill sets, but I combined them for ease of use in The Division. Under Move the canon said it could be used to reduce damage from incoming grenades but never specified how and it stated how it would be used to let Ghosts move on their turn and avoid gunfire by using cover, so I feel like my rules are a fair adaptation of those rules so you aren't rolling Move every time you want to move in a firefight; plus the canon never specified what happened if you failed your move, like do the enemies get a free shot, etc. Under Assault the canon just had it be an opposed roll but I felt like that was a bit weird if you snuck up on the target. XP as a currency was also a canon rule. I changed up the Silencer weapon attachment as the canon cost 500 XP but completely got rid of your weapon modifiers, although their was an Advanced Silencer for 1000 XP that didn't give you any penalty, also both silencers could be used with all the weapons except the LMG and Grenade Launcher in the canon. I added the penalty to shooting at melee range and all of the prone rules are homebrew too. I added movement speed as the canon had nothing on how far a character can actually move on their turn, plus it makes it easier when actually using a battlemap. I gave you more HP at higher levels, the canon only gave you +1 HP at level 2 and that was it. The Stabilizer Specializations, Extended Magazine, Underbarrel Grenade Launcher, Skeleton Key, and all the SHD Tech are homebrew. I added blast areas to the grenades as the canon only stated that they did splash damage to nearby units but didn't specify how big that area was, also added smoke and tear gas grenades. @Marc I haven't decided yet on a day or time, but my availability hasn't changed so it will still be PST afternoon or evening some day between Monday-Thursday or after 7:30 PM Sunday. I'm kind of waiting for everyone still interested to get a chance to look through the game mechanics and decide if this is for them before I try to solidify a day and time that works for me and the players. Which reminds me, if you guys are still interested in playing this game after looking through the doc, PM me your discord and your availability PST afternoon or evening Monday-Thursday or after 7:30 PM Sunday, also which day you would prefer.
Hey guys, I still have room for another 2 or 3 players, if you're interested PM me your discord and availability.
