Official Savage Worlds Sheet request - Lock traits?

1605729102

Edited 1605729121
Paging  Finderski?  (I don't know how to ping users in a forum post.) Would it be at all possible to "lock" the attributes and skills behind the customization cog so users don't accidentally change their trait dies with an errant mouse click?

This is certainly doable, but I'd want to understand how you envision it. I ask, because the way I see it in my head means a lot more work for people, especially GMs. There's also a similar solution already in place on the sheet that I think does what you're asking, and that is to use the "Statblock View." To get that, simply click the green page icon in the upper left-hand corner of the character sheet. That will change the view to this: In that view, you can't change any of the values, because only buttons are displayed. To get back to edit those values, you'd click the red paper and pencil icon that replaced the green page icon Also, if you want to make sure I see these types of messages, you can use the Official Savage Worlds Character Sheet game  by posting in the Enhancement Request forum for that game (or create a new forum topic in that game). I hope this helps.

Okay. Wow.  I'm blind for missing that.  I scanned the sheet and info tab for key words and totally missed that option so I apologize profusely. Technically, this is all I would need.   That being said... Finderski said: This is certainly doable, but I'd want to understand how you envision it. What weapon details would you like to see? That's something I can probably do something about, even if it's just a hover pop-up sort of thing. I'm planning on adding things like Range and AP, but can easily do Rate of Fire, too. I'm thinking of the best way to accomplish that aesthetically and functionally. :)
Hover pop-ups sound great.  I trust your intuition!
