[LFP] [5E EPIC] [Free] - Thursdays [9pm EST] [2am GMT]

Session 0 is today. Session 0 will be used to get to know each other and make characters. DM League Info We are an 5e epic ( several ongoing campaigns that exist in the same multiverse, are level 12+, and they go to level 40 ) DM's guild that specializes in epic (level 12 - level 40) homebrew content.  All crafting professions have been revamped with a leveling system. New homebrew races and classes have been added. New feats have been added. We use a shared google drive to hold all homebrew information. This includes the DM's guild "Epic leveling" PDF, which takes all classes to level 40.  All games are run in roll20, using shaped sheets. If a player cannot make a session, we do allow players from other campaigns to "cameo" in a session, so we try to keep everyone at the same balance and level.  Multiverse Info The multiverse is in Chaos. 781 years ago, The Cataclysm happened. Soon after, power imbalances began to happen. Some deities grew in power, while others got sick, some even dying off. Strange things began to happen, as some groups began to search for the source of the imbalance (soon dubbed "The Source")... whoever or whatever it may be. For a brief period, even magic stopped working, pushing *some* realms in the multiverse into a dependency on technology. Each realm deals with the struggles of a power imbalance differently, with some realms having lost access to the Gods, some delving into all out war, some that have had sweeping geographical changes occur over a rapid period, and others that seem to function almost...normally? MUST be over 21 .  These are Epic games, and as such have had their difficulty level significantly raised.  This game may contain Adult themes, and as such YOU are responsible for letting the DM know about any triggers before joining.  NOTE: Please be aware we require all players to sign an agreement they will not be racist, homophobic or transphobic. We are an INCLUSIVE league and do NOT tolerate bullying! Story This game is going to take place in a world unknown to all the players/characters, and the characters can remember nothing from their old world or life. The characters know how to use their class and race features and general things like how to walk, talk, etc... The story is going to be focused on politics and intrigue, and will have less combat then other games might. And as mentioned, the story is of a little darker themed then normal (age +21), so please discuss any triggers in session 0 or just PM the GM directly. Game Info Each session will run 4-6 hours Roleplay can lower a DC or even make a roll unnecessary Damage calculation is always in the favor of the players (round down for players and up for enemies) You can (and should) be creative with solutions when trying to fix a problem When the GM gives an explanation or ruling you are free to discuss this... after a session (please do not derail a session with questions that break immersion) NO lengthy application process. Preferred Pronouns: She/Her Favorite Character : I had an albino high elf bard that was raised by a Tabaxi thieves guild, she got to level 4 and was a total menace to society. Not in the sense that she was evil, but she just had a lot of chaos in her blood. Loved to tell lies and was a prankster, helped that she was pretty young for an elf and thus a lot more immature than the typical elf character.  Perfect Ratio: Combat 20/Exploration 30/Roleplay 50 My friend: Preferred Pronouns: He/Him Favorite Character : He once played as a wood elf bard esque character in a custom system. This character had a way with words and could fight with a sword and a grappling hook. Preferred Pronouns: They/Them Favorite Character: I played a Tabaxi Fighter that was near constantly throwing herself headfirst into danger at the sign of trouble, and yet somehow managed to be the most levelheaded and rational member of a group of chaotic good to chaotic neutral adventurers, and spent most of the campaign herding her teammates. It was incredibly fun to work with a wide assortment of crazy personalities to get a job done, and was some of the best roleplaying I had experienced.
