I'm looking for 5 Great Players.  If you play D&D to have fun and role-play (not to argue minutiae), this may be the game for you.   Lady Midnight  is designed specifically for your Roll20 entertainment—each Session has a beginning, middle & end.  No waiting around while other players go shopping, no downtime in Dullsville.   Lady Midnight  should be like a movie where  you  are the star. We have 3.5 hours and we're going to make the most of it. Style Balance of combat, exploration & role-play.  Voices are  encouraged  (but keep it something your teammates will want to listen to.)  Be a friendly player who helps others shine and they will do the same for you.  Interesting races and flaws are welcome, but if you want to go for dark & brooding, play something else.  No evil alignments, no PvP, no jerks.  Extra XP if you make the team laugh. Pay to Play Lady Midnight  is $15 per session because of the time required to create, manage and run the game.  I think of it as a weekly movie ticket. Background You have worked with the half-elf wizard Alveron the last few months, scoring him as guards, learning spellcraft, hunting with him, acting as couriers, studying religion, history, and more under his watchful eye.  Alveron is a well-connected man and he is promoting your fledgling adventurer career.  He is a teacher, mentor, and friend. But recently, Alveron has been erratic.  He isn't sleeping. He disappears for days at a time even though no one ever sees him leave the tower.  The last time you saw him he was distracted and exhausted.  Strange lights pop from his rickety tower day and night.  The stink of sulfur reeks from his crooked home. What secret is Alveron hiding? Application 1) Briefly describe what you want in a D&D Session experience: 2) Your Roll20 experience: none / beginner / intermediate / expert 3) Your D&D experience: none / beginner / intermediate / expert 4) Provide a few details about your {Standard Array Level 1} character such as name, class, race, and backstory. (It's OK if you haven't decided yet. Don't play a class to balance the party, play somebody you will enjoy playing.) 5) Are you comfortable speaking in character? 6) Do you understand the pay-to-play dynamic? 7) Tell a joke you didn't copy from the internet.
