Basics and Scheduling Yoyo. You can call me Dapper. I'm looking for A tabletop game to play here on roll20. I'm free Sat/Sun/Mon starting at 9pm EST. I am also free anytime on Wed/Thurs before 8pm EST. My preferred system is D&D 5e, though I'm down to play in earlier editions of D&D or other fantasy oriented TTRPGs. Not currently looking to DM anymore games. Details As a player I am very roleplay oriented, but do appreciate the other pillars of gameplay such as exploration and combat, though over all my one desire when playing a TTRPG is to tell a cooperative story with a group of like-minded individuals through the lens and tool of my character. I prefer a tonality around the NobleDark area, but I'm willing to play in pretty much any tonality even if that is where I'm most comfortable. I put a lot of time, effort, and thought into the backstory, personality, and headspace of the characters I play. If I had to place my greatest strength as both a player and DM it would be in my roleplay, and my ability to get along with pretty much anybody. I am willing to play modules/premade adventures so long as DMs are creative enough to keep things interesting when players do the unexpected. I enjoy exploring settings that I am unfamiliar with, including but not limited to homebrew settings. If there is a fun setting whether of your own creation or already pre-established and popular, if you want a player who will have an insatiable curiosity to know more about that world then I'm that guy. I am willing to play in paid games, and to learn new systems I'm unfamiliar with. Currently, my greatest system mastery is in 5th edition D&D, though I have knowledge of how to play and run Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars systems, as well as the setting neutral variant known as Genesys. I've also played a little bit of Chronicles of Darkness/New WoD, and had a brief stint learning Mage the Awakening, which I do have an interest in. I'm interested mainly in playing in a Fantasy genre game, though this includes things like Dark Fantasy and Modern Fantasy, just a setting where I can throw around magic and crazy stuff can happen is all the set-in-stone requirements I have. My preferred archetypes to play are Rogue-ish types, Charismatic Talkers, and Scholarly sorts(not necessarily just Magic Users in that category, though I do enjoy my wizards.) Despite my preferences in character archetype, I'm pretty well versed in playing other character archetypes as well and do enjoy them thoroughly. I've played swashbuckling vagabonds and honor-bound knights, and basically everything under the sun. If you think I'd be a good fit for your game, please reply here or send me a direct message via Roll20. If that is too time costly or you prefer a more direct method you can contact me at DapperMage#2327 on discord. Thank you for your consideration.
