Discovery of sealed doors, mines, crypt or temples with entrances into dungeons with unknown adventure based on rumors or gossip. The backbone is loose 5e rules with a mix of alternate rules. Examples of alternate rules will include: • Resting, DMG p.267, Short rest - 8 hours, Long rest - 7 days • Food and drink, PHB p185?, Always bring food and drink! • Exhaustion, Exhaustion rules apply, PHB p291 • Encumbrance, Variant Encumbrance rules apply (Character sheets should capture this), PHB p. 176 • Massive Damage, (based on DMG p273) • Injuries, (based on DMG p272) • Critical Fail/Fumble Character creation will only include PHB options. Race variants within the PHB are acceptable. Attributes are rolled down the line: Strength | Dexterity | Constitution | Intelligence | Wisdom | Charisma The character created may be completely new to the player, requiring the player to learn to play a class they are unfamiliar with and hopefully a fun exploration into an unknown.
