OK so my DM says he gave me a character sheet and I can't see it in my journal. I don't want to just think he's lying to me, can someone help me out?

Hi Malcolm, more than likely, the permissions are not set correctly...  I would politely ask them to double check the character journal permissions to ensure that the "In Player's Journals" and the "Can be edited & Controlled By" fields are set properly .  Good luck.
