Hi everyone, How do I make a cave that has daylight outside and shows the players everything outside of the cave, but inside the caves it's dark and they can't see past walls. Would explorer mode do that?
I guess it depends on how much of the map is outside the caves. Usually what I have done for something like that is to put some invisible (transparent) tokens outside the cave that shed enough light to illuminate the area (and maybe shine a bit into the cave). I actually keep a transparent token with an aura only I can see linked to a character sheet in the journal of all my games specifically for doing things like this.
