Heya, So basic stuff out of the way first: Name:   ToastedBums or Toasted Age: 22 Time Zone: GMT+8 (Hong Kong/Taiwan) Language: English and Portuguese I've been playing 5E for around 3 years now and I'd say I'm pretty familiar with the system. However honestly the only reason I haven't played other editions have been due to a lack of game openings in said formats. I'm very open to trying out different formats/editions and learning them.  My experience with DnD has been mostly that of the DM however. I've run around 4-6 campaigns now (all homebrew), and rarely actually gotten to take the role of the player. The few times I found myself behind the table of a game, the campaign came to an end abruptly due to either missing players or a vanishing DM. Schedule wise I'm open any day as stated in the tittle, the only limiting factor is the time itself. I share the apartment with family, so obviously I don't want to be yelling out "VALHALLA" at 2AM. I work from home so my work schedule is pretty much self imposed. So long as the schedule doesn't pose an issue to the family, I'm willing to work with it (18:00 to 10:00 EST is the equivalent to 07:00 to 23:00 my time). Enough IRL talk, lets talk DnD: Preferred branches of DnD: RP - HELL YES Exploration - Soft yes (I love learning about the world we reside in, but I'm just not exactly amazing about doing so, IE awkward moments) Combat - Soft yes (Seeing big numbers and killing things is fun, but gets old if over done) Love RPing. Actually interacting with other characters and NPCs in character is awesome. Learning about the world is really cool and I genuinely do enjoy it, I just suck about making it happen which leads to some awkward stalls in pace if it's the main focus. Combat should exist obviously, just don't want conflict just for the sake of conflict. If we're dealing with some evil warlock that's hell bound on resurrecting some world ending dragon, sure. If we're just killing goblins because they're goblins and we're killing them, then no. Character preferences? Honestly I don't know. Like I said 90% of my experience with DnD has been me DMing one shots and homebrew campaigns. I've rarely actually been able to play so I haven't acquired a particular taste for characters yet.  What you can expect though? A flawed character riddled with adversity. I hate Mary Sues, if your character is perfect with no flaws to speak off then how are you supposed to grow and develop? That being said, I've never played a spellcasting class. Or rather, a class that's solely focused on spellcasting. I've played classes which delve into magic as a resource and tool in their kit. But never a character who's entire use revolves around the arcane. So if I had a choice, I would likely pick a wizard or warlock. Perhaps I was the apprentice of a little known wizard, traveling the land in search of new magics disguised as a scholar. A clumsy, shy and awkward bookworm with a stutter, hardly what one would consider the ideal pupil. But a kind heart and genuine keen mind made the choice a clear one for my master, or at least so I've been told. An unfortunate run in with bandits however left me separated from my master in an unknown city ruled by an unknown lord. I now make my day's end doing humble labour, practicing my magic where possible and applying it, some times to the great annoyance of my employers. none the less, I continue my studies. One day I am sure to be re-united with my master, and I must make certain we have much to speak of.
