Newbie looking for d&d 3.5 or 4.0 group

I have not played much of any d&d but I have played magic the gathering competitively competitively for about a year now and have had alot of success in grand prix and fnm's and I saw d&d at my local game store and thought it looked awesome.I tried my find a group near me but I couldnt find any.so that is what brings me here if anyone has a d&d group for please private message me(Just so you know I am 13). try and find a group in the LFG section and search "new player friendly". I posted here a couple times and it's rather hit or miss. there are a lot of "new to gm'ing player s"that i am sure will be patient with you if you are patient with them. probably the most time consuming and annoying thing is the character sheet building. It would help to try and make one of those first so it won't take you like 3 days to figure it out. If you want help there, i can help you a little with that. that's my suggestion anyway.
