Change background color for text

As a GM I want to be able to put text on the GM layer that is easily readable and that I can place anywhere. To do that like most D&D maps do with room numbers I would like to be able to just put black number on a white background. I would like to be able to change the background image of the text boxes (even if just white would be fine) to a color instead of being transparent.

Not as efficient, but you can draw a box and place it behind the text.

I tried this myself, then quickly went down a rabbit hole of layers and Bring to Front.  Text background seems like a common-sense feature to include in this product.  I spend way too much time trying to find the right color to use for my DM notes on color maps.  Only to have the GM text turn opaque and harder to see. Yellow seems to work for most color maps.

Background color for Text, or Outline Font style for text (which I think there is maybe an existing Suggestion for that, with some upvotes, from years ago)

I agree with this request.  On some maps you just can't find the right color for the text to pop when labeling locations(see my example)
