Being a huge fan on the more modular game style he grew up playing, Dane has crafted a game that focuses more on exploration and combat over role-playing. That being said, there will be plenty of moments of roll-playing in the game but not the main focus. TGoS will feature all new monster not in any of the published Wizards of the Cost books, gripping combat, though-provoking puzzles, and strange mysteries to explore. About your GM Over 25 years ago Dane played his first D&D game in a camper in his backyard with a friend and neither had any idea how to play yet they still had a blast. That sparked a lifelong love for role playing games which has only grown with every year. One of the two founders and owners of The Bearded Dragons Inn, Dane pulls skills from his background in summer camp directing, wilderness therapy, acting, and sales to deliver engaging and thought provoking games. When he is not behind the DM screen, Dane has a deep passion for Renaissance Festivals, culinary arts, speculative fiction, and most importantly, spending time with his wife. As a DM, Dane loves to bring his acting skills to the table to create a fully fleshed out world. Never short on words, he describes his settings in vivid detail and encourages his players to live in that world. Dane specializes in mystery and horror style games and placing his players in situations that they can't just fight their way out of.
