CyberMonday

Was a little disappointed today that there were no deals or specials.  Maybe next year?

Historically, Roll20 does not do deals or offers... there may have been exceptions for licenced content as that is often driven by the rights holder and Roll20 can pass those savings along, but for general Marketplace content there are never deals as this diminishes the offerings made by the content creators. From a year ago: Dean  said: We don't generally allow sales, as we're invested in creating healthy models for digital distributors that doesn't result in a race to the bottom. We are absolutely in favor of permanently adjusting prices for the market in ways that help set healthy precedent. That said, there is minimum pricing on content that we license but do not own (such as D&D content), and there's little that can be done on that front.

Not likely, to quote someone on the subreddit that put together a pretty good paraphrase of Roll20's previous statements on this: "This sector of the market already undervalues its property. We have not nor do we intend to discount our market place items or subscriptions." They have discounted older licensed products, but that is about it.
It is a shame.  I picked up a number of books on DnD beyond during their sale earlier today. $20 there compared to $50 here is a no brainer.
