This is an ongoing Cavemaster RPG adventure centered around a small hominid outpost struggling to survive in the domain of the dinosaurs. Instead of the typical journey into danger from the safety of their tribal settlement, the PC's will be immersed in constant danger as they fight to keep their besieged outpost alive. Schedule: Weekly, Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. Central U.S. Time. Character creation session is Wednesday, July 2nd. Background: Like a giant Venus Flytrap, the Lost Valley lured a handful of adventurous hominids into it's inescapable grasp. Vague portents foretold of a Hunter's Paradise located in the depths of a great wound in the center of the land. Scouts, hunters and shamans traveled countless paces through treacherous wilderness only to find themselves at the crossroads of dread and danger. A massive flat rock outcrop that rose above the great river was the only bulwark the hominids would find in this lethal landscape. Surrounded by packs of deadly Hook Feet and marauding Cutters, the scouts of the four hominid breeds must overcome their cultural and racial differences in order to survive.... the Siege of Chissa-Joogruh! Player Characters: Players can choose any one of the four hominid breeds. All characters start with 6 core stones. Spirit magic is allowed but no more than one Spirit Lore specialist at a time in the group. Any starting animal companions are restricted to those brought with the adventures from their native lands. Progress & Losing: PC Death is permanent, players can always create a new character for play in the next session. If all characters fall at the same time during a session of the Seige, the outpost of Chissa Joogruh will be considered overrun and the campaign will end. However, if there is at least one surviving player character left at the end of a session, the outpost survives another week to endure the next session and each survivor earns one stone of experience. Winning: Keep the outpost of Chissa-Joogruh alive for 10 sessions and have 6 settlement mysteries realized. If these conditions are achieved, the outpost advances to a self-sustaining settlement and a testament to hominid perseverance and ingenuity. Please PM me if you're interested. Thanks for reading!
