Kobold Press: Tome of Beasts 2 Lairs (module and not add on?)

To whom it may concern, Why is this considered a module and not an add-on? It straight up says it's supposed to be something you can use as side missions to an ongoing campaign.  This item is a Module. Modules are only available for selection when creating a new game. Click the button below to get started! Inside, you’ll find these adventures and 11 more! Created for the 5th Edition of the world’s first roleplaying game, these 14 standalone, single-map adventures each feature new monsters from Kobold Press’s Tome of Beasts II. Use these adventures as side missions alongside your ongoing campaign, or to fuel one or more standalone sessions. With adventures suitable for heroes of level 1–15, there are enough challenges—and mayhem—for everyone! Apologies if this is something that was already addressed.

Interesting question. Unofficial reply here. Haven't seen that answered before. Maybe it was too big to put the whole product as 1 Add-On, but also difficult to chop-it-up into multiple Add-Ons? For example the WoTC product "Tales Of The Yawning Portal" on Roll20 Market IS divided into separate Add-Ons for each (of 5?) sub-books. I'm not sure if that method would've worked on Kobold Press product, Tome Of Beasts 2, or not. Just guessing that they considered both options, and had reasons for choosing to make it a Module.  I'm guessing that has to do with the large number of Monster (character sheets, and Handouts, for each) in some way, perhaps. On another view maybe the product was Small Enough to fit everything into one module, and didn't need to be recommended to add only-the-ones-you-need, since you could just go ahead and add the whole Module and play just whatever parts you want. Since you have PRO account, you can install TOB2 as a kind of Library game of yours, and then use Transmogrifier (Roll20 Pro feature) to copy-over the Map, Monsters, Handouts, and folders of DM readings, per each individual Lair adventure. If you want to simulate using it like an add-on. This method can add that content, to an already existing game you have, or use to create a smaller game that has only the one lair you need. For those who don't have Transmogrify access, I'm kinda wondering the same thing, how would you add just 1 of the map-lair-adventures from this?

Tome of beast 2 is a compendium and not a module. Which market place item are you refering to? Found it... name is too long to properly show on the marketplace... my bad.
Hmm, Underworld Lairs has each adventure as an Add-on, so it should be possible.  I was thinking about buying this one, but begin a module instead of add-ons is kind of a deterrent.
Exactly. It's what's so confusing/frustrating. Why is Underworld Lairs and Eldritch Lairs both Add-Ons and Tome of Beasts 2 Lairs not? Maybe it's a mistake in the set-up? Otherwise, if this is deliberate, it's a waste of money for anyone wanting to use one or two of the adventures as a one shot/side quest.  I like Kobold Press products for the most part. This, though, is frustrating.

Kobold press usually handles their own conversion, AFAIK. It might be more helpful to ask them.
+1 This is very annoying
