Hello! My name is Nick and I am looking for a game to join for 5e. I have 6+ years of experience both in 5e and roll20. I am looking for a game Friday night after 6 pm EST. I am 35 years old and work as an artist for indie games and animation. A bit about me...my previous games have all ran into the same issue of punctuality and players not showing on time, or DMs cancelling games last minute. While I understand life happens, when it happens consistently it grates my gears, so I am looking for a group of players that are respectful about everyone's time. If you can't make a game, try to give notice as early as possible etc. Its a big pet peeve of mine. I ensure that my schedule is clear for the time my groups alot to play D&D and if I am unable to make it, notify them early. It's just common decency...especially if the games are paid. Please don't waste my time, and I won't waste yours. If you can get past this, please keep reading. Storytelling is something I am incredibly passionate about, along with worldbuilding. I will never shy away from roleplay and am looking for a group that doesn't either. That being said, I like a healthy mix of the 3 pillars, and feel a good game is one where the DM understands pacing and how to keep players engaged. I enjoy stories that involve the character's background into the world, and help facilitate character growth. I am a big fan of Critical Role, and try to approach the game in a similar manner with my own playstyle. That said, I tend to think outside the box and prefer character ideas as my driving force in designing my character rather than munchkin min/maxing. I will however try to do my best to make my characters useful in some regard --- I am a sucker for support and utility though, and will lean that way unless asked to fill a different party role. I don't mind flexing. I understand that roll20 can be a mixed bag. But if you think I'd be a good fit for your table, I'd love to talk with you more and answer any questions you might have. Feel free to send me a private message and we can discuss there or on discord, etc. Thanks in advance and best of luck with your gaming. Have a happy and safe holiday season. - Nick
