One Shot D&D 4e June 17th

Newbish player looking for slighty newbish group for a one shot (maybe campaign) D&D 4e game playing a "homemade" encounter. I will DM because I did write the encounter and put the pages together, anyway I am looking for 2 Strikers 1 Defender 1Leader 1 Controller but will let more if more would like to play, but the group should be kept small for quick play. The game will start at 9:45pm June 17 EST (time can be adjusted for the group)

Hey sure yeah I'm in. I'll throw together a Ranger real quick. Do you want any effort to go into the character, or is it just gonna be fighting?

No you dont have to put much work into it theres 3 combat encounters and at the end many skill checks for certain skill just the regular stuff so no big deal on effort.

Oh, well, I might be leaning towards that one simply because of the difference in interest. If we get enough people to play this one, count me in though. I have a character all rolled up and stuff.

I'd like to join your group I have had some experience in playing DnD and lots of time role-playing but I don't personally own the 4e character handbook but my friend does so I will have to try and go over to create my guy. I was thinking about making a rogue. Oh and I'm PST.

I could play the rogue. but I won't be able to pick up a game till after wednesday due to end of session uni exams. and I'm australian so roughly plus 15 hours to your time. 24th at 9:45pm EST and yes we do but I don't have a camera. So you don't need a camera but a mic is needed. Reminder this is for next week.

How long do you think this is going to take I want to see if my friend can join but can't play on the computer too long. Most likely 1-2 hours. Same friend that has the book.

One more thing how are we going to do rolling for gold and ability scores?

Connor what you could do is just right things down on a peice of paper

the more you play dnd the more people are going to cheat and as a dm you don't want the players to cheat and it's unfair to the other players that aren't.

There are 2 circles free above a character this will be used for gold and xp

Those are used for power points and psychic points or something like that.

That's fine you have to do is make character and put it onto a sheet on the computer or just keep it the way it is its no big deal

I was thinking of joining, but my Mic has stopped working and it seems like you already got enough people.

I threw together a Fighter, but I might need to make some on the fly changes in case I did something wrong. Since there aren't many people available, I'll try my hand at the "learning by doing" this time.
