[LFG][Tenra Bansho]

I've wanted to play this since I picked the Japanese rules up in '97 (I'm old) and even more so since the translation came out, but no luck. If there is a game going on that is looking for players or someone is interested in running it, I would be very interested.
If you find anyone, I am in as well. Or hell find me 3 more people and I will be willing to run game myself.
Guess we'll have to see if anyone else in interested in Tenra. Cross my fingers.
I'm interested. Tell me more. I have the game, but never had a chance to read or try it.
Tenra Banshou a game with an anime feel and is set on a world called Tenra which is very much like the Warring States period of Japan. As such you have characters like martial arts monks, ninja, shinto priests and samurai (though Samurai here are people who have had soul gems implanted in their bodies so they can in effect hulk out). You also have magic and tech, so you can have cyber foot soldiers, children who pilot mechs, souls in fully mechanical bodies and people who have colonies of insects living in their bodies allowing them to accomplish amazing things, such as regeneration and even immortality. The game system is pretty straight forward. Die 6 dice pool, roll a number of dice equal to your attribute and rolls under your skill are successes. It uses an intermission style of game play where after scenes you adjust your fates and karma, and PCs fates are meant to draw them together with a weighing to drama. As you play your character accumulates Karma, if it ever gets to 108 your character becomes a monstrous NPC. It is during the intermission that you adjust your fates and lower your Karma, again with a weighing towards drama. That's things in a very abbreviates nutshell.
