Newbie LF RP-centric 5e/Next campaign

I'm a ROLEplayer that would like to experience 5e/Next. I'm looking for a game that will be in it for the long haul since I see characters as an investment; so one-shot campaigns aren't really my thing. I like a group that loves to laugh, but knows when to reign it in when its go-time. I'm a relatively easy-going player and fully acknowledge that a good RP-centric game should revolve around the story, not the character. Therefore, I'm not the type to demand to play some obscure race or penta-class or try to redesign every spell in my spellbook. I like to trust official mechanics and will generally abide by them until they have been officially changed. I'm in Arizona Time (GMT -7) and have availability any day, any time. any bat channel.

I have been GMing for 20 years but am relatively new to roll20. I am starting a new D&D next campaign and am looking for players wanting to start a new adventure. I'm running a campaign that tends to be short a few players (irregular turnouts and whatnot). However, we're GMT+1, and seeing as we play Saturdays at what would be around 11 AM your time, I see how it could be a problem going forward. We're also on a bit of a break until somewhen in July.
