[LFP][DND5E][PAID] Frigid Fridays! New Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign, new players and veterans welcome!

Watching the snow fall outside my NY apartment today I figured it was time to start a fresh Icewind Dale campaign! Shooting for Friday nights, weekly no later than a start time of 8:00pmEST depending on everyone's availability. I will be using syrinscape and character voices to make things more immersive and fun, and strongly support RP and creative rule-bending. I welcome new and veteran players and have Tasha's, Volo's, and Xanathar's guides in my compendium to share! https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/267935/frigid-fridays Why pay? The small fee helps me maintain subscriptions and purchase other new content that will also be shared with players for the duration of the adventures, as well as reflecting the time and attention off-screen that goes into tailoring aspects of the adventure to your characters as well as the experience level I bring with over two decades of tabletop gaming under my belt. My first D&D purchase was the Planescape campaign setting in the mid-90's which is still my favorite campaign setting of all time. My DM style is very improv based and open to the rule-of-cool. I am always happiest when my players want to negotiate to do something awesome rather than just read abilities off the page. I'd rather you tell me what your character wants to do and I will work out how to make that happen within the rules. Before the pandemic I was running games for new and veteran players alike as well as adventurers league content at local game stores, so have spent a lot of time navigating new groups and finding ways to make everyone comfortable and feel included in the scope of any game session. I use both lines and veils as well as the X card, but have never had a game group that needed to invoke them as I like to keep my fantasy worlds a better place than the real world can be, and people of all walks of life should feel safe at my table. My number one house rule is always "Be excellent to each other"
We are just a couple players short of starting this powdery fresh RotFM campaign! My street in Brooklyn is covered in snow, so I'm feeling the Icewind Dale vibes! PHB, Xanathar, Volo, and Tasha guides available once we start our session zero! Weekly Friday games at 8:00pm EST!
