I've been a DM for many years, been on roll20 for a long time as well. I used to run paid games but don't have the time for it so much anymore. I try to keep the games a bit heavy on the roleplay side and skip monotonous combat scenarios. Lots of jokes in the games that I run as well. (Sorry, am a dad) I run API's in my games so some of the gameplay has smoother transitions. I like to run a clean game, with no offensive language/behaviors. Expectations of Players Make a serious character you want to invest in. Also, invest in the world. Those two things make a fun game for everyone involved. It's important you take stock in the world, even if it's another player character, and it will make the game more fun for you. We don't name call, we dont belittle, etc, just be a decent human being.
