Bar Settings?

A new DM....  When I set the bar settings (ac, hp, etc) for a character and say Save Settings. When I delete that character from a specific map, and then re-add them, those bar settings are back to blank. What am I missing? 

Here  is the wiki page describing the steps necessary to save the token's setting to the character sheet.  Essentially, you are changing that token's setting without changing the default token for the character from the character sheet, so you need to go back into the character sheet and remove the current default token and replace it with the new one once it is set the way you want it. EDIT - ninja'd! You need to update the "Default Token" of the Character Sheet to the newly updated token. Select the token, then open character sheet, click Edit, mouse over the default token to reveal the remove button. Remove it and then "use selected token".
