Using a module in a game where I was given DM access

The title is sort of off because I didn't really know how to word it. Or really what to search for in the forums so I didnt bug you guys.  Buy my question is this.  My friend is our normal GM and has pretty much all the d&d 5e stuff on roll20 that we use for the games that he runs.   I would like to run the Tomb of annihilation module (which he does not have.) is it possible for him to make a game, have me DM it so we can all use the compendium but then I run the Tomb of Annihilation? (which I would buy) sorry if this has been answered before, I just didn't know what wording to use while searching.  thanks for your help!!

The creator is the only one that can create a game with a module or add an addon to a game.

So if I buy the Module for my friend, and he creates the game with it, I can then use it to DM after he gives me DM access? thanks for responding btw

Just be aware that a promoted GM doesn't have a Creator's priveleges. There's a bunch of things you won't be able to do, so make sure you have a spoiler-free Journal (everything tucked into subfolders) and always move everyone to the landing page between sessions, so when you need your friend to log in and make some changes for you they won't accidentally spoil the game for themselves.
