Hey there everyone, I am trying to access the interest for a campaign run in the Shadowrun universe during the time of the Mob War (2058) but using The Sprawl system, which is based on Apocalypse World. I would like to shoot for 2-3 hour sessions on a weekday with 3 to 4 runners at a time. Depending on the number of people interested, this could be a designated group, or an interchangeable roster, which starts from a hub. Newbies are welcome, as I am only recently getting into the Shadowrun universe myself. I ran a bunch of campaigns that were powered by the apocalypse systems, like Apocalypse World, Dungeon World, and Monster of the Week. Please make sure to check it out beforehand, if you have never heard of it. It is a story-focused system, that does not have 90% of its actions rooted in combat, but tries to allow players to overcome problems in many ways. The takeaway phrase from the rulebooks "We play to find out what happens" is king. Nothing is set in stone and things can dramatically change depending on the actions players take. Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting some runners that dare to make their legacy in this chaotic and dangerous setting. I may also just use The Sprawl vanilla, cutting the Shadowrun part completely, if people are more interested in a more neutral setting!
