The game itself is pretty simple, it is a D&D cyberpunk setting. So same gods, same classes and just about everything else for the most part however technology is futuristic/cyberpunk. So you’re a paladin with a Guns and Cybernetics. I know what you’re thinking “That is cool but I don’t feel like having to come up with stuff and rules for that.” We got you fam, it's all in a free setting book and posted in-game as handouts to remind players and GMs. The book has new subclasses fitting the future modern setting, however it works just fine with normal WOTC books. What you need to know, we’re doing a rotating GM game. Each player/GM will be a part of a faction. We’re using Night City as our model. So default factions are MEGACORPORATIONS, GANGS, LAW ENFORCEMENT. A player/GM will be a part of one faction, he/she can choose to change that faction to fit their needs (Name, theme and how they make money, etc), if not the faction will be the same as default. When it’s the player’s turn to GM, they take the role as “Fixer” The party’s information brokers (Quest Giver) for your faction interest. You’ll come up with one-shot sessions each time it’s your turn. The session doesn't need to be anything in-depth or role play driven narrative, we’re not looking for critical role level stories and none of are Matthew Mercer. Sessions should be more like sidequests that could build up to something or not.Think like you’re playing a Bethesda game. For example: Tom Four Arms need for the party to steal by Car in a heavily fortified rival gang base. Despite having members from many factions the party is neutral, that said when you’re the Fixer(GM) you can’t take part on that quest as you’re giving the job to an outside contractor. That is the in world reason but it so people don’t feel like you have any bias towards your character. I trust you but that doesn't mean everyone else does. The Fixer still advances with the party and all loot/money and etc is still split as if your character was there as your Fixer’s cut.
