Hey folks! We had a last minute dropout for Out of the Abyss and are looking to fill one more spot for this Sunday afternoon game. You can apply here The spot has been filled! Thanks everybody for your interest. _______ Dare to descend into the Underdark in this adventure for the world’s greatest roleplaying game! The
Underdark is a subterranean wonderland, a vast and twisted labyrinth
where fear reigns. It is the home of horrific monsters that have never
seen the light of day. It is here that the dark elf Gromph Baenre,
Archmage of Menzoberranzan, casts a foul spell meant to ignite a magical
energy that suffuses the Underdark and tears open portals to the
demonic Abyss. What steps through surprises even him, and from that
moment on, the insanity that pervades the Underdark escalates and
threatens to shake the Forgotten Realms to its foundations. Stop the
madness before it consumes you! Come get in on one of Wizards
of the Coast's most acclaimed fifth edition modules, Out of the Abyss.
Start off at level 1, enslaved and scared in the Underdark, and progress
to saving the world from demonic incursion at level 15! As you
progress, start leading troops in battle and saving settlements from
mayhem. Will you wield your NPCs to the last man, or do whatever you can
to save them? Will you give into the madness and tear through the
Underdark, or rescue even the most dastardly from destruction? The
choice is yours. ____________ About me: I'm an
experienced DM and have run Out of the Abyss previously. Outside DnD,
I'm also a comedian, improviser, and occasional writer (including former
SCP author <a href="http://www.scpwiki.com/salman-corbette-personnel-file" rel="nofollow">http://www.scpwiki.com/salman-corbette-personnel-file</a> ).
As far as playstyle goes, I like to jump between humor, horror, and
heroics as is fitting. I try to match the game to the preferences shown
by the players. Whether it's engaging combat, deep roleplay, or
intriguing exploration, I can guarantee a fun time. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $10/Player/Session. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment
transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Session 0, this Sunday, will be free ! If you're not feeling it after that, please don't feel any obligation to continue (though we'd be glad to have you :D).
