Players resizing tokens

In last night's session, players were now able to resize their own tokens. Is there an way to disable this as a GM? Is it a new feature?

I'm not seeing that behavior in my test game.  Are you playing in a game with API access?

Yeah players have never been able to do this, unless they're running an extension/plugin. You can't do much about that, unfortunately. Well... except tell them to stop, then boot them and find better players if they don't :)
>> Are you playing in a game with API access? I only pay for PLUS, so they shouldn't have API access, right? >> unless they're running an extension/plugin Nothing new there - and all players had the ability. Maybe I was giving API access on accident? Think I should report this in bugs ?

This thread in bugs exists and seems to match the problems you have identified. Trying to help work through some steps to see what exactly is happening but it looks like it is affecting quite a few people.

Jordan has confirmed in that thread that this seems to happen when DL is turned on. This is new behavior. This should be escalated. I'll see what I can do. Fortunately, as bugs go, it's not a game breaker.
Oh that explains it. Last night I had 3 players accidentally resize their tokens and that had never happened before.

I believe it is being looked at. But if the dev team wanted to spend the holiday weekend with family, I wouldn't blame them. :)
Same here. Two of my players resized (extending horizontally or vertically and/or rotating) their character tokens. They thought it was hilarious.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. ;-P I would actually love having a permission setting for player controlled tokens that allow them to resize.  (spell templates using image tables and casting enlarge/reduce person come to mind)

Ahhh. My game was having this issue on December 24. They kept thinking it was me (the DM) resizing them, and I didn't think I was doing it. So I had concluded that I had done it because of lag (my click going somewhere other than where I thought I clicked, dragged, unclicked). By the way, we are looking for a way to Toggle this behavior on-and-off, to allow Players to size their tokens initially but then lock the size. Even an API way? Looking into setting up TokenMod to allow such..
Actually, this is game breaking.  My players are using this effect to push through dynamic lighting

On purpose? Tell them to knock it off. On accident? Yes, this is an issue. I know it has been reported and is being looked at, but additional  Help Center Requests  can throw more light onto the issue and impress the Powers That Be with the need to come up with a fix.
Thanks for that keithcurtis. I've submitted a bug report.
