Set in the town of Barrie, it is the middle of the Summer Queen's rule. An anniversary of the disappearance of the neighboring freehold approaches. One year ago, another freehold vanished. Distinct for the seasonal courts, many have assumed the other freehold fell to the True Fae. Refugees from the freehold and new changelings arriving in late spring find a place here. You are a member of a new motley in Barrie. You have come together, as all changelings do, for safety. The True Fae are at their boldest and the freehold is on high alert. Others seek the mysteries in the small towns around Barrie, once contested by another freehold, now possibly troves of abandoned tokens and secrets. The lure of these tokens draws more and more interest from the Autumn court and their allies. Spring members help others adjust and notice new faces claiming to be from the fallen freehold. But something seems off. Winter is in slumber, quiet and patient. Welcome to the world of Changeling: all the emotion, pain, and joy that comes from being touched by the world of the Fae.
