Compendium sharing vs Westmarches campaign setting

How does the compendium sharing work with a west marches campaign? There are strict limits on the sharing. So how does this work if I have 30-40 players that want to use the charactermancer regularly? I'm on the base subscription now, but consider upgrading if I can use my books that I payed for the way I want in my games. I find the player limit really weird and unnecessary😵 How does this improve the game or make roll20 more money? It's just a problem without reason or solution. We already payed full price for this! It shouldn't be a restriction on how much we can use them 😡

It isn't a restriction on how much YOU can use them. It is a restriction on the total number of people who are allowed to use a SINGLE person's subscription and purchased material.
