Pathfinder Character sheet, paladin fighter mixing

I was talking to my Dark Heresy GM about this pathfinder game I'm about to be in, and he can't wrap his head around what this one player is doing. We are level six, but he is duel classing and is a lvl 2 fighter, lvl 4 paladin. What penalties are imposed on this? I already noticed he has more feats than he should, but my GM thinks he shouldn't have bonus feats at all as a fighter since he is only level two and should be level four to be able to benefit from the class. <a href="http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=" rel="nofollow">http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=</a>... This is just min maxing at its finest since his character should be very soft headed, and his charisma is barely good enough to be a paladin.
This isn't specific to Roll20 and would be considered an off-topic discussion, which is not allowed on Roll20. However to answer your question, the character is obviously min-maxxed, but there is nothing illegal about the character build. In Pathfinder there are no "penalties" for multi-classing, you get all abilities granted by the class for that level. The key distinction though is that you simply won't have higher level abilities, meaning if he was a 6th level Paladin he would also have Divine Bond and Mercy. In general (not always mind you) if you intend to run a character all the way to 20, or even for a significant period, then multi-class honestly prevents you from getting some of the top end abilities sooner. However if an adventure is short term and known to cover a smaller range, then a more focused character can "dip" into different classes to pick up things to "shore up" their characters for the specific adventure. Speaking as a GM who's players are min-maxers at heart, but still good role-players, it is going to be important to make sure that all characters brought to the game are equally optimized, otherwise it really throws the balance off within the group and the encounters.
