Hi everyone, I'm a long time DM looking to run a new campaign for adults using Roll20. I'm thinking of running 5E Waterdeep Dragon Heist as a starting point and then expanding out from there. I have over 20 years of experience as a DM and I like my games to feel cinematic, while focusing on RP. Not really into murder hobos, loot whoring, overly evil/sadistic PCs, or PvP. I am currently available to run a weekday campaign, once or twice a week, starting at around 6pm GMT +1. I'm an American expat living in Prague, ergo the start time. Looking for 4 to 5 players, ready to go with session 0 whenever the group fills up. Please message me or reply here with the kind of player you are, what you are interested in running, your time zone, and any other pertinent info. About me I've been DMing since AD&D, and have DMed in FR, Darksun, Dragonlance, Shadowrun, and a ton of homebrews. I'm not really into dungeon crawls, so if you are looking for 4 hours of combat in a 5 hour session this won't be the game for you. That's not to say those sort of sessions won't ever happen, but they will be rare. I like to offer players many many ways to get out of any given situation, but occasionally combat is unavoidable. Inclusion I don't judge people based on appearance, gender, or nationality. You do you, it's all good. I WILL judge you if you're an a$$ who ruins the game for everyone else, however. New players Ideally you have played before and know how to use Roll20. Technical Session Length: 4 hours per session, with a 10 minute break somewhere near the middle, which is added at the end. As with most groups i know, more often than not we go a little overtime. I don't have a Discord set up but i can get that up and running if people prefer Discord to the Roll20 chat/video. This game is free, although tipping is perfectly acceptable. Any tips will be put into purchasing Roll20 resources first and foremost. This game encourages tipping the Game Master at a rate of whatever you feel. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
