Hi everyone,  I'm a long time DM looking to run a new campaign for adults using Roll20. I'm thinking of running 5E Waterdeep Dragon Heist as a starting point and then expanding out from there. I have over 20 years of experience as a DM and I like my games to feel cinematic, while focusing on RP. Not really into murder hobos, loot whoring, overly evil/sadistic PCs, or PvP.  I am currently available to run a weekday campaign, once or twice a week, starting at around 6pm GMT +1. I'm an American expat living in Prague, ergo the start time.  Looking for 4 to 5 players, ready to go with session 0 whenever the group fills up. Please message me or reply here with the kind of player you are, what you are interested in running, your time zone, and any other pertinent info.  About me I've been DMing since AD&D, and have DMed in FR, Darksun, Dragonlance, Shadowrun, and a ton of homebrews. I'm not really into dungeon crawls, so if you are looking for 4 hours of combat in a 5 hour session this won't be the game for you. That's not to say those sort of sessions won't ever happen, but they will be rare. I like to offer players many many ways to get out of any given situation, but occasionally combat is unavoidable.  Inclusion I don't judge people based on appearance, gender, or nationality. You do you, it's all good. I WILL judge you if you're an a$$ who ruins the game for everyone else, however.  New players  Ideally you have played before and know how to use Roll20.  Technical  Session Length:  4 hours per session, with a 10 minute break somewhere near the middle, which is added at the end. As with most groups i know, more often than not we go a little overtime. I don't have a Discord set up but i can get that up and running if people prefer Discord to the Roll20 chat/video.  This game is free, although tipping is perfectly acceptable. Any tips will be put into purchasing Roll20 resources first and foremost.  This game encourages tipping the Game Master at a rate of whatever you feel. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
My name is Mattias and 46 years old. I have played diffrent tabletop rp games. My playstyle is mostly RP focus. My played time is atlest a few years sometimes as DM. I have not played with 5e. I do have players handbook, dungeon master guide & monster manual both physical copy and digital in d&d beyond for 5e. I am intrested as I want try to get back to my favorit game. My PC I want to play can be desided thats best for the team. I have a "dream" background for my charater with as a locksmith (tinker tool) and playes a rouge. I can pitch more info about my charater if you think I will fit your team. My time zone is GTM+1 so 6 pm GTM +1 are perfect for me. I live in Sweden so I hope my grammatic error are not to many. Best wishes Mattias
Hi Mattias,  Sounds great! I'll add you to the list =)
hey! Dragonheist sounds fun, count me in for anything! but if i had to suggest one... madmage? :D Names matt and ive played for a bit over a year or two (lost count) only in 5e on roll20, (typically you can count on me to loose count of things), currently just playing in one game on our 33rd or so session and i feel like ive got room for more dnd in my life atm. got a couple characters i have played in the past i would love to explore more happy to talk about them with you/the others when/if the time comes anyway, best to reach me on discord: devilsreborn hashtag 3493 but i shall endevour to keep checking this thread in the meantime! goodluck with the game :)
Hey Matt,  Nice to e-meet you. Isn't madmage a giant dungeon?
Hi. My name is Rey and I have been playing 5e for about 4-5 years now. I have been looking for a long term campaign with some decent RP for a while now. My time zone is GMT+1 so 6:00 PM work perfectly for me. As for a character, I'll go with whatever synergizes well with the rest of the group.  One question I had is what materials will you be allowing in the game? Either way, hope we get to game together! Cheers
Aloha! Another lad names Ray here, but I can gladly adopt my character's name to avoid confusion ^^ Similar to my namesake, I too am GMT+1, hence 6:00 PM works just splendid. Likewise, I gladly take whatever is left/needed, but generally prefer to play monstrous races like Kobolds, Goblins etc. I've using Roll20 for years so that ought to be no issue! The only minor issue is that I would require a bit longer of a break (bout 20 minutes instead of 10) due to family dinner. Your call is that is bad or not ^^
Hey  I'm Kendle, and I've been DMing since AD&D myself.  I am looking to be a player this time however, and would love an opportunity to be on the other side of the screen.  I'm open to really any setting, and feel comfortable playing any class needed.  Of course I do have a few ideas on tap.... I have only been using Roll20 since March, and have always used DNDBeyond for character sheets, and Discord for voice.
yeah madmage is a giant dungeon set inside the yawning portal in waterdeep, its really big, like really big!
Hello there my name is Bentley and I'm def interested in this. However a couple of questions: 1. What day are you thinking? At present I can only do Wednesdays as I run a few games myself. 2. Im in the UK and I'd still be at work when you'd be looking to start, is it possible to start 30 min later when Id be home.

Hi there! If all the positions haven't filled up yet, I'd like to throw up "application" to the pile. I'm 27, a Finn (GMT +2) and quite new to the DnD world but super eager to learn and take direction. I've been doing RP-related stuff all my life but I've played DnD only for the past 3 months or so. Completely fell in love with the game and now I have 3 new characters lined up and I just can't wait to start playing those :D I'm open to pretty much anything game wise, I enjoy both action and rp, super excited of any setting really. As a bonus I'm an artist (I might be able to throw some sketches of the characters) (pls do not refer to my icon which was a gift :D) and as a minus I might need some help with the game mechanics. I'm used to Roll20 and Discord (for chat and video).
