[D&D 5E] Newbie looking for group/place to learn

Hi all, Pretty much I am a complete newbie to the game. I am looking for a group or someone to take me in so I can learn the game. I have played a one-shot a few years ago but other than that I have no experience. I am not against becoming a DM but I feel that I would rather get a grip on the game before dipping my toe into that pond just yet.  I am in the GMT time zone. Not sure that else to add. If you want to know more let me know. 

Hello there! I'm part of a community call Roughworks that is based mostly over Discord. We do a lot of DND but we also do a lot of other things together. We all pride ourselves on helping each other out and if you have any questions, I'm sure the DMs on there wouldbe more than happy to give advice. If you have discord, you can add me: Bodheim#5326 Feel free to ask me anything you want!  Our main DM has a few sessions with openings if you'd like to jump right in or he's trying to start up bi-weekly sessions on Tuesday and Thursday. Typically, his sessions are 15USD/session because he's a professional DM and this is his job. He does usually give a trial session to see if you like it and work well with the group if you are jumping in to an older session. Anyway, hit me up on here or over discord if you're interested!
