Looking for players to get into a good game of Vampire. I'm an experienced storyteller and will cater a game to suit player needs and characters. I'm a screenwriter by trade so I'm more interested in good stories, but most importantly enjoy playing dark stuff in a safe and fun environment. I'm in AEST but I can do most time zones within reason.  Let's chat come up with some ideas and get into it.  Cheers,  Ryan.
Interested in V20. I have only played V5 and have heard about the various stories you can get into. I would love to get into a dark story and play it out. I am in EST time zone as well.
Be keen to join the game. Have some experience with v20. Can do most times as well. I'm in ACST.
OK cool!  Ideally I'd like another player and the time zones can be tricky but not impossible, looking to start up after Christmas. I'm a big believer in creating stories around characters and would probably start with a character building session. I do feel V20 lends itself to a more old school setting, I have a city ready to go set in Chicago 1982 (Greed, punk, big hair and neon = fun), but I'm happy to set it anywhere and at anytime depending on player preference.  Shall we keep in touch and see how this forum goes? Happy for you guys to shoot me any questions on my style of games, plus any character ideas you've got. My approach is a lot like a writers room when it comes to characters. I'd recommend working out who your character was as a mortal rather than picking a clan you like. Let the clan pick you rather than creating something to fit a clan. What made them stand out? What got them noticed by a Vampire who's been around long enough to create another, its not something (most) Vampires do lightly. Playing a character who's clan or sect goes against their concept can be really rewarding and provide conflict so go wild. I have a bunch of questions I can throw at you to help build and flesh them out.  Are there any groups/settings you're itching to play? Sabbat? Camarilla? Anarchs?.....Dark Ages!?   Oh and if theres anything you'd like to know about me don't hesitate to ask.  I'm social progressive type who supports using correct pronouns (I'm he, his), Metoo and BLM. No Judgment or looking to get into huge discussions about this stuff, just a friendly heads up.  😊 Cheers,  Ryan.
Alright awesome. Do you want us to plan here, somewhere else, or PM you directly?
Hello! I'd love to get in one the game depending on the schedule you come up with. I'm in EST myself, played one session of vampire but that's a once a month game and I'm dying for more lol. If you still have room available I'd love to hop in!
OK great! Seems we have a few people interested. My setting at this stage is 1980s Chicago. You'd be playing band new shinny vamps in the camarilla. It's loosely based on the original Chicago by night books from the 90's but with a few tweaks. (I'm an Australian who has also never been to chicago so keep that in mind ;) However! As I said I'm a big believer in making a game around the characters the players create, so legit we can do anything. Why don't you guys send me the characters you'd love to play in PM. As I said think of a concept first rather than clan, skills powers ect. Maybe come up with a few ideas, juxtaposing concepts are always welcome, (like a Nosferatu with high social skills, or a Ventrue born into poverty)  Once Ive got a sense of your characters I can start shaping a campaign that will have something for everyone and hopefully more fun to play. Vamp being so story driven I think its important to spend lots of time getting your characters just right.  I'll be able to create your sires, your mortal lives you've left behind, how the rest of kindred society sees you and whose chess game you belong to (yes... you start as the pawns) Of course any questions don't hesitate.  Cheers,  Ryan.
