Hello! We are looking for more players for our West Marches style game, Taming Barbaria. Right now we run games every other Sunday, but are hoping to increase our player pool so that we may run games more often. The game is set in my homebrew setting near the north pole of the world in an untamed wild known as Barbaria. Settlers have established the town of Frostfjord and are in the process of building the settlement. The environment and beings that inhabit it are very dangerous and unforgiving. Do you have what it takes to survive? Set during the Age of Dragons this game is set in a medium magic world, most spells are available but some are not. Magic items are often kept secret to avoid the item finding its way to a dragon hoard, as the Darastrith, or dragon lords, rule the land and seek to add magical items to their already vast hoards. Each week between games counts as 1 day of downtime. Characters will select downtime activities to help build and maintain the settlement or their own homesteads. I update maps between games so you can see the progress happening as Frostfjord grows! Game includes access to an enormous Lore Compendium containing information on my setting's world history, famous heroes, legendary items, songs, homebrew rules, settlement information, information on other characters and NPCs, as well as much more!
