Fog of War for TV Battle Maps Question

Hey all,  Is there a way to enable a black screen type fog of war when using Roll20 for IRL games? We are using battle maps on a tv vy the gaming table, and I'm having issues with payers being able to see parts of the map that id rather have blacked out. Is there anything i can do to make the IRL experience more like the online experience when it comes to fog of war? Thanks so much!

One common solution is to display the screen of a dummy account rather than your GM screen. Give control of all the characters to the dummy account in addition to their players. Has the side effect of giving a "hive mind" vision where all players will see "through" all the PC tokens, but that's better than them seeing the whole map through your screen. If you don't want the shared sight, you could instead use  light crumb  token(s) assigned to the dummy account and move them around to reveal what you want as needed. This requires more fiddling by you in-game, though, so just a matter of preference. Wasn't clear from your post, but if your IRL players are also logged in to roll20 via laptops, etc., a second option is to just give them all control of all the players and only display one of their screens.
Thanks for the reply. We're using one laptop (mine) to stream via HDMI to the TV battlemap. Ideally id be able to black my own map out and reveal it bit by bit, but im guessing the answer here is that there is no way to do that?

Hmm, that's trickier but still possible. If your video card allows you to output to two monitors simultaneously (panorama-style, not duplicated content), you should still be able to use the dummy account method. You would log in to both GM and dummy accounts on your laptop, but on different browsers or perhaps an in-private (or incognito) window for one of them. Then use the second monitor for the dummy account.
Thanks for the help!
