How to Start the Game?

OK, talk about a noob question: I am the DM for our Curse of Strahd game, and I bought the module. I've got my players joined up and we're building characters. Now: when I press the LAUNCH button from my start page, to launch my game, I get to https://app.roll20.net/editor/ When I go to the page toolbar to switch pages, my players don't see the new page. They're stuck on the cover page. This makes me think I'm not actually running the game yet. How do I start the game? I've read the instructions and to me it seems like it's telling me how to edit. I am looking to put the characters into a map. Am I thinking about this wrong? What should I be doing?
Did you try to move the banner who said "player" on the next page?
No, what banner is that? I don't see such a banner.
When you expand the Page options and can see all of the different maps, one of them will have a red banner on it that says "Players". You click and drag it to a map when you want the players to be able to see the new map.
Ah- got it! Thanks, that worked. How do I put the players on it? I swear I didn't see this in the help guides.
you need make a copy of all the character on the blank page so you can just copy paste them on each different page they play.
The players, assuming they have edit control of their character sheets with linked tokens, can drag their characters onto the current Player map (the one with the banner) by dragging the name of their character from the Journal list to the VTT (Virtual Table Top, aka the map).

Thanks, everyone. I've made some progress toward understanding this thing! I actually copied the battle map and created a forest map, then stuck some Characters on it. Final question: Is the game actually played *in* the editor? When I "Launch" the game, it takes me to the editor. Is there another mode whereby you're actually playing? I don't think so, but I want to make sure I understand how this works. The tutorial shows you how to work the interface, but I don't see an example of actually playing the game after all the players and maps are created. Thanks.

The launch button should actually be labeled enter as you are entering the game itself. The editor is the actual url (shortened) of the game so don't worry about that. This is slightly old (9 months) youtube on the basic usage. It should answer some of your quesitons.
I just want to thank you for posting this because I am having the exact same issue and I couldn't even figure out how to say it, I was so lost. So thank you, and thanks to everyone who replied, you've helped me too!
