I am a "forever DM" who, in the past, would run a 2-3 games a week for different groups. Due to most groups aside from my IRL friend group falling apart, I found myself in a rut. Recently, I've created a discord server where friends I've made in these past gaming experiences, and others can hang out together and socialize, with the hopes of eventually gaming again. That is where this post comes in. Though some of us have tried in the past to meet and recruit new DMs or join other campaigns, things don't always mesh, so we figured if we get a few of us who are dedicated to trying to make a long term game work, we could find someone out there who wants to become not just our DM, but ideally our friend as well. We're hoping to find more than one DM with fairly open schedules most weekday evenings/afternoons with weekends open, or someone with fairly open schedule in general. more than one DM would allow us to do some west marches style stuff or pickup games when possible for those of us with free time, or alternating DM schedules for a shared campaign, where one dedicated DM would allow us to have a long term campaign. 18+ is a must, we also ask that they be mature and open minded, even when it comes to immature jokes etc. This bit is a little odd, but sometimes our group can come off as offensive as we're very comfortable with each other and tend to make jokes that aren't really sound in every circle, so you'll need to be cool with that kind of thing. I'm not sure what else to add, but serious applicants only please. We're looking for someone who can help us have long term fun. Hombrew stuff is fine, also alright with running modules, we prefer not to be railroaded too hard and want plenty of opportunity for roleplay. anything else we can hash out over PMs i suppose. 5e preferred, may be willing to play 3.5 or pathfinder 1e (though i'm not sure how many of us are familiar with those systems) mondays, saturdays, and/or thursdays preferred for the main group of interested people, but additional schedules could work for the server as a whole (including said west marches situations)
