Optional Portrait Window for tokens

I'd love it if a future update could include an optional "Portrait Window" to be available to come up on screen for whichever token is active - both player controlled, and GM controlled tokens. This way the tokens can include the best of both worlds - portraits as well as top down. MapTool has an option like this if you need a reference point. Loving the system, keep up the good work!! :)

What do you mean by "active"? For any token which you can select and which represents a character, you can hold Shift and double-click the token to bring up the character's Bio & Info page, which will include the character's avatar. Unfortunately, you can't do this cor tokens which you cannot select.

Or, are you talking about more of a visual turn indicator, like the character portrait being displayed in a large format in the chat? (Totally doable in the API)

I think the suggestion is for more of a "pop up" on the map screen near the token. For a related, lesser idea: I have created a splash page for each character. On that page I place images for that character, whatever the player requests, so they can have multiple portraits or illustrations of their character (such as face-view, side view, picture of their home town, picture of their animal companion, and so on).

Gold, you do that in a Journal?

Aaron, actually no, not the Journal, because generally (as far as I know) a single journal entry (also called a Handout), can only contain 1 graphic. I make it a Page of the campaign, and I drag the Party over to that page occasionally when it comes appropriate in the gameplay / roleplay. I believe you can actually "split the party" on Roll20 now, so you could drag Player A to his own character's page, and Player B to their own character's page. I haven't done that yet. That wouldn't be as much fun. What I do is drag the whole party over to Character A's page, and let Player A talk about his character, and introduce his pictures to everyone. "See, this is a picture of my homeland" and so on. Then drag everyone to Character B's page, and it's their turn to talk. Give everyone a chance to show off their pictures to the rest of the group. NOTE the Player has to send his pictures to the GM first (easy to post a link to a web picture, in the chat), and let the GM place the pictures on the page, because Players don't have access permissions to drag new pictures onto the map page.

Ah, I wasn't sure if you created a montage to use as the primary picture of the handout. I believe you can add images to the handouts via the API and writing the HTML directly, but you're right, only one picture per handout via the journal tab.
