Space for one player (or potentially two) to join an ongoing campaign which runs every other Saturday, typically starting around 9.30am EST/2.30pm GMT and running for about four hours. We use Roll20 for gameplay, and Discord for audio and chat/text RP between sessions. The style of play is collaborative and light-hearted. The game takes place in a traditional fantasy setting with homebrew elements, and I aim to allow for exploration of character backstories and personal motivations along the way. So far, the party have had each other's backs through adventures involving kobolds, goblins, dragons, demons, and modrons; they've got a couple of strange artefacts to investigate, mysteries to look into, and a retired demonologist to find ... . There are plenty of open story hooks to bring in a new character who suits the party's style, and is happy to join them in pursuing their goals - such as the one about convincing the DM that levelling up should occur whenever the characters reach a new height of intra-party snark. We currently have three in the party; characters are level 4 at the moment and any new players would join at that level. The game would suit a beginner or inexperienced player who wants to learn about D&D from the core books in a relaxed and friendly group; we all enjoy roleplay and character exploration as well as combat. I've been playing and DMing 5e D&D for about three years now, and I am happy to teach beginners. Please feel free to PM me if you would like to talk more about the game or are interested in applying to join
