Welcome, Adventurers, to a world of magic and technology, of danger and intrigue, of death-defying stunts and deep mysteries. Welcome to Eberron! You have been summoned by an old friend, a tavern owner who is starting a new Adventuring Guild, and you are to be the first members! Greetings, Players! I am running a Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Eberron Setting campaign. The game is played weekly, and will be designed to allow drop-in/drop-out play and long-term players alike. Players are encouraged to return week after week, to build an ongoing story, but it also allows players to join a game without having played previous games. Games will be on Thursday nights, starting at 8pm EST and running until roughly 11 - 11:30pm. I will generally be online up to half an hour before hand to help set up if need be. Generally, each game night will have one to two action set-pieces, one to two significant role-playing scenes, and will end with a player-led choice that will set up the next week's game. Players are encouraged to come back to help direct the story. The campaign will be divided into shorter "seasons", and will have slightly faster leveling than a comparable home game. In the City of Sharn, an ancient artifact is broken. With the help of a young Gatekeeper druid, the characters have helped repair it, but the artifact, and other artifacts like it, are losing their power. And across the world, news of rising demon activity is reaching the players. Is the loss of power to the artifacts related? The true purpose of the artifact is to prevent the Lords of Madness from returning to this plane. What is the connection? We are still early in the campaign. The players have completed one arc, and are venturing through the Dagger Woods before returning to the City of Sharn to begin the second arc. We are hoping to add one more player to our group. It is the perfect time to join. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/257900/titans-eye-adventures
Game Night Schedule
7:30PM: Early Access, chat, questions.
8PM: Roll20 Technical questions, sound and video setup - Mic and headset are preferred. If you play in a loud area, please consider push-to-talk. Game will be Voice with Video optional.
8:10PM: Game On!
We encourage inclusivity, and all players of all walks of life are welcome. We use the X-card and lines and veils aka hard lines and soft lines to help create safe games.
Each game will allow time for character creation for any new players, Player and Character introductions, and the return to our mission. Players will be asked to create or bring a 4th level character. Charactermancer options include the Players Handbook, Xanathar's Guide, and Ebberon: Rising from the Last War. Players may also play a character made from any other official Wizards of the Coast 5e published book, but will be responsible for their own character sheet. Time for character creation will be provided on game night. I ask players create a generally heroic character, avoiding loner-type characters.
Game Payment
This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $12 per game. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
I am asking for $12 to reserve a seat each game night, to be paid prior to the game via PayPal. I understand many people do not want to pay for a game, and I respect that, but this small charge will ensure that I am able to dedicate the time to create an engaging story, and to ensure that each and every player at the table is invested in how the story plays out. The seats are first-come first served. If you reserve a seat and are unable to play for any reason, message me prior to 7PM on game day and I will provide a refund. Everyone's first game is no charge, and no commitment, so you can drop in and see if you enjoy my style of game and the other players. If you would like to pay in advance, you can pay $40 for four games. I prefer to run parties of 5 players. The first five to sign up get reserved seating. Please Ask any questions, let me know if you are interested, and together we will explore a whole new world. Bless the Dragon Above, and Curse the Dragon Below.
