Is there a difference between pre-generated chars and charactermancer-generated chars, WRT Dynamic Lighting

I posted this in the dynamic-lighting thread, but it's a more general question too, so forgive the cross-posting.  Mods: if you wish to delete one, that's fine! I've launched a sandpit game by using the Underworld Speculation from the XGE bundle, and have added a new page. On that page I have created a map - just a simple dungeon.  Because I don't want to have to position torches everywhere, I've enabled dynamic lighting, and daylight mode.  I've then drawn in walls on the dynamic lighting layer. This morning I tested with one of the pre-generated characters. I set the character to Token Vision -> Vison On.  I set that character to be controlled by a test user (not my DM user), dropped it into the dungeon, and lo, as the test user, the character could see as far as the corridors extended - everything worked just fine. This afternoon with my group, we created four new characters.  Once the characters were complete I did exactly the same - set the character to Token Vision -> Vision On, and dropped the tokens into the dungeon.  I set the characters to be controlled by exactly the same test user, but none of the characters can see. If I disable dynamic lighting, the whole map is visible.  If I re-enable it, the whole map goes dark, despite me ensuring that daylight is on, and the tokens have vision enabled. I've just tested it with another pre-generated character, and it works fine. Am I missing some subtle difference between the pre-generated characters and the ones I made?  They look identical in terms of settings and who can control them.

For things like this, it is best if you include screenshots of your token settings.  That cuts out guesswork, and makes it easier to spot a setting that needs adjusted.
Thanks Kraynic, I've taken five screenshots: 1) My view as a DM on the dynamic lighting layer 2) The token settings for the bard (pre-generated character) 3) The token settings for the cleric (new character) 4) Test player view when the bard is in the corridor (works fine) 5) Test player view when the bard is not in the corridor (can't see anything) Both players are controlled by the same test player. If any more screenshots or settings would be relevant, just say, and I will provide them. Thank you!

This is one of those occasions where the lighting tab of the token isn't telling the whole story, and we need more info to do anything other than guess.  For instance, on the Details tab, what is showing in the "Represents Character" box?  Is the token correctly representing a character so that the token will inherit the permission settings of the journal entry?
Aha!! Yes, that was absolutely it.  I had forgotten to associate the token with the character. I feel very silly, but also really pleased that it was my error rather than a bug, and I certainly won't make that mistake again. Thank you so much!
