skull d. said: I was trying to be respectful but given my recent insight into daivd's motivation, I don't see any reason to do so any further. Just so we are all on the same page. David is saying "I" should pay for a requested change to the character sheet because he has a thing against paid Gming (which is something listed in my Bio). Something I was doing a while back because I like to play but can only justify playing rpgs more than once a week if I can offset the lost work time as a freelancer. If I was going to pay for changes, it would be a lot more than these two changes. I really appreciated that there was a free open source character sheet for Runequest sheet to use. Its better than having to use the basic Roll20 sheet for Runequest. That being said - there are a number of instances where I have over the last few months asked, "Why was this done this way". How Spells are handled was one of them. David left this as a text box but in other places he had setup separate fillable boxes - such as with Passions and Equipment. Its just kind of lazy to think that he would put the work in to design those section to operate in that manner but with spells not follow through with the same approach. This complete lack of consistency is why its a bit of a joke to asked to be paid for these changes. I respect the amount of work that goes into making one of these sheets, but if I'm paying someone to make a character sheet for Roll20 - I would hire someone else to make it. People create/edit sheets for various reasons. Most sheet authors do it for free, some charge(perhaps for the very same reason one may decided to charge to GM a game...), and some projects are openly commissioned. AFAIK, there are no rules regarding compensations for sheet. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. No worries.
