[LFP][Free][5e][7 PM GMT, Tuesday] Icewind Dale : Rime of the Frostmaiden, Looking for one or two players!

Thanks for all the answers! The othe rplayers have picked two people, thanks for all of your time and I hope you all find great games! Hey everyone! Our usual Tuesday group has recently started playing through Rime of the Frostmaiden, and we're looking for a few lost souls to sacrifice to the cold!  On to the important part: -what we're searching for:  One to two players. Gender, origin, experience with 5e and what-have-you doesn't really matter, the only things you should really take into consideration are whether timezones will be an issue or not and if you think we'll be a good fit for each other.  -About us: Our group has been playing together for about 10 months to a year, this is our second campaign. We're pretty laid back, we have a decent balance between RP, combat and exploration, and the character's backstory/personnal quests can be tied into the campaign. That being said, while joking around is greatly encouraged, we'd prefer if it was done in moderation, same with taking things seriously, there can obviously be some serious moments, but we're not aiming for a super serious grimmdark campaign! -The game: We play on Tuesdays, from 7 p.m. GMT to 10 p.m. GMT, so 3 hours sessions. we use roll20 to play, and discord to speak. Some of us sometimes use video (though it's not a requirement at all). We are currently 3 players and our GM. We are currently level 2 our party consists of: - a human fighter (will be a rune knight) - a half-elf druid (circle of stars) - an eladrin paladin (will be an oath of vengeance) - a human monk (would have been a way of mercy, player had to leave) -If you want to join: Tell us a little about yourself, what's your timezone, what you enjoy when you play, anything you want really! If you have a character idea in mind feel free to share it as well, it's in no way a requirement but it's always nice to get an idea of who could be joining the party. I (or our GM) will PM whoever ends up joining. HI :D My name is Gwen and I am the player with too many characters lol. I have a whole list of characters ranging from official content to UA content to even homebrew content (I do sort through to make sure any homebrew content is balanced and double check with DM but if homebrew isn't allowed that's fine too). If allowed to play homebrew then I will probably use my new Tarocchi character (Tarrochi's use a deck of enchanted cards to cast spells where the rank of the card determines what level spell slot you can use and you can only have 5 cards at a time) if not allowed to use homebrew then maybe my Twilight Cleric or an artificer (been wanting to try one of them). This game is a bit later than my usual games but still workable (perhaps even more so honestly). My favorite type of campaign is one where your actions determine how much combat you get into. The right choices, and a bit of luck, and you can go days without fighting, or inversely you could be in a different fight every day. I do have experience with IWD as I am in 2 campaigns for IWD but the sandbox nature makes it so that each campaign is unique and interesting, especially with a good DM that knows how to work in backstories.

Hello there !  I am very interested in joining, your group as the timezone is not an issue for me. I am a bit of a noob regarding DnD, however I played a bit of pathfinder which is close to DnD and I am eager to learn new things. I have used roll20 before in a small warhammer fantasy campaign, but i am currently looking for something a bit more lighthearted than warhammer hence why your DnD campaign seems interesting to me. Regarding the character i would like to play, Im thinking that about something close to the kineticist in pathfinder, a kind of arcane user specialised in the elements that comes from a desert background and that mains the fire element at the start. But if this idea not really possible or makes it to complicated for DM, i have no issue finding something a bit more traditional. Cheers.

Hey Usu,  I've been looking for a group that wants to balance RP and lightheartedness! My current campaign is on Thursdays at 7pm GMT, and Tuesday works very well for me. I'm a PhD student, so i'm pretty flexible too if people's schedules mean we'd have to re-ordganise the time / day.  I have a high elf wizard in mind that I really like, with a backstory I've already drafted up. He'd most likely be of the illusion school. I think it would be a good idea to have a quick chat, if you guys were interested in having me along, to get a feel for what would be allowed with illusion spells, for example. Hopefully I'll hear from one of you soon! Thanks!

Good afternoon, I would also be interested in joining! I never tried roll20 but I played a little D&D and with everything going on in the world I'm looking forward to making new friends and playing new campaigns. I'm a guy, 32 and I life in the Netherlands. I really enjoy playing D&D, cause there is nog better rpg then this. You can do whatever you choose to do, cause there are almost no boundaries unlike rpg's on pc for. I tried to multi-class a monk/ranger for a long time now, but the games I played only took a few sessions, cause of people losing interest or they just didn't have the time. So I'm hoping to find a fun group on roll20. Like I said, I would really like to play may monk/ranger character, but if I have to choose a different class that's fine to. For race I'm thinking about choosing Tortle or Aasimar. And if we deep rp, I can send the dm a mail with some backstory.  07:00pm gmt is 08:00 pm (20:00) for me. I'm Dutch, but speaking English is not a problem. I really enjoy playing D&D, cause there is nog better rpg then this. Totally up for this, it rather superbly matches the time i used to play weekly before lockdown, and am happy to continue it even if that finishes. Years of experience, used to IC roleplay, GM's a little bit :) and up for meeting new people and helping to make their and your experience enjoyable. Pick me!!! lol Rather than post a load of stuff about what i like to play I invite a voice chat to discuss. Afterall, if i join your group, everyone needs to click.
