Hi! I've got a campaign running that unfortunately lost another player to mental health issues, real life always comes first of course. However we recently lost another as well, so you will not be the only stranger. I go crazy for some of that sweet sweet Forgotten Realms, and that means both limiting and freeing player choice in some avenues. Your character will need to fit in to the story, and the world, and the party, trust me that leaves a lot open but also closes a few doors, just a heads up. In the freeing part, I've homebrewed several of the players races to be altered versions more in line with lore, their written backstories give their characters ulterior motives that give a nice change of scenery here and there. A lore appropriate backstory with some threads for seperate adventures will be required. I work hard to create an experience, try to have heavy use of art, maps, and especially ambience and music (though I admit we've become such good friends we often sidetrack into conversation). We run on Roll20 with a few addons that are required and chat in a discord server. We've currently got three women and 1 non-binary player (I'm a man myself) but are willing to take on players of any gender of course! We are happy and silly, and serious and morbid, really it all depends on the situation. The party has just arrived in the fallen city of Elturel, where they've met the new player, there will be one session tomorrow and I hope whoever you are will be able to join us the session after!
